Part 2: Level 35-6: Epic Book 3 and North Downs

These are the quests we decided to do in a single session for the level 35 range. We were actually a couple of levels over here, but it didn’t matter too much, it just meant we zerged it a lot faster than we would on level. Below are the quests we intended to complete together, and the quest notes and chains to be completed I sent out for us to prepare for them.]

Fellowship Quests to Complete Together:

  • Quest: Vol. I, Book 3, Chapter 4, Part I of III: A Call to Dwarves (35)
  • Quest: Vol. I, Book 3, Chapter 5, Part I of III: A Call to Elves (35)
  • Quest: Vol. I, Book 3, Chapter 6, Part I of III: A Call to Men (35)
  • Pulling Beards (30)
  • Birds of a Feather  (35)

Quest Notes and chains to complete:

1) Make sure you get the Epic book from Halbarad in Esteldin, Volume 1, Book 3, Chapter 1. Then work your way through this until you get to Chapters 4, 5 and 6 (all can be done together) A call to Elves, Dwarves, and Men. We can do all these together, including the initial bits of them, so just make sure you have done chapter 3 ‘the fallen once more’ and we’ll meet in Esteldin and progress together from there. If you want to see them all you can find them here: http://lotro-wiki.com/index.php/Category:Book_3_Quests

2) Complete the quests:

  1. [28] A Bird in the Hand
  2. [28] Feathered Foes

We can do the follow up Fellowship quest: ‘Birds of a Feather’

3) If you wish to complete the quests:

  1. [28] Stop the Scouts
  2. [29] Dourhand Plans

We can do the follow up Fellowship quest: ‘Pulling Beards’

We atctually finished with plenty of messing about and travelling in an hour and 20 minuites, and spent some more time sparring and messing about helping out one other on other quests, so In hindsight I think adding the follwing 5 fellowship quests (3 chains) to the ‘to do’ list would be a good idea:

  • Destroying the Hatchery (33) leading to
  • Mother of the Valley (33)
  • Sclaes of the Earthbound foe (34) leading to
  • Leathery Wings fo the Drakes (34)
  • Plague Bearer of the North (35)
